“One of the highlights of our recent trip to Paris was the day we spent in
Montmartre. We took the Metro from our hotel and met our guide, Sandy Schopbach, at the designated stop. She turned out to be all we could have hoped for in a guide -- knowledgeable, warm
and friendly, considerate and enthusiastic. The steep hills seemed like nothing considering the views of Paris they afforded us. We loved Montmartre with its wildness, untamed gardens,
and artists both practicing and well-remembered. Sandy filled us in on the history of the area and the roles played by the churches, particularly St. Pierre and Sacre-Coeur. The tour
ended with lunch at a restaurant Sandy knew well where we enjoyed delicious scallops and profiteroles au chocolat. No one should go to Paris without seeing Montmartre; the lucky ones will
see it with Sandy.”
Chuck and Mary Jane Elkins, Fort Collins, Colorado

"Going through Montmartre with Sandy Schopbach was more like strolling with a
friend, a very knowledgable friend at that, than running along as part of a packaged tour. Sandy is a true Parisian who knows and loves her city, especially her village of Montmartre and
all its out-of-the-way treasures, the churches, the views and the artists' hangouts as well as the best places to sip coffee and soak up the atmosphere."

"Sandy Schopbach created a unique itinerary for us that was based on our
group's varied interests. We received an excellent itinerary that provided us with a high-quality tour of Paris and the surrounding area. She guided us to lovely, low-cost hotels,
gave us detailed maps to keep us on track, as well as written commentary regarding the sites. We had a delightful experience and highly recommend her services."

"It was a pleasure to have you as our brains in France. You were everything
that you promised, producer and director of a very enjoyable tour de France. You made all things possible. Without your expert guidance we would have always been trying to figure out what
to do and see. We would have struggled or botched just about everything had you not been there to "talk French". I can just imagine all the consternation and uncertainty
associated with not being sure of what we were doing due to lack of the French language and experience. The five of us would have been busy just choosing up sides. Wow ! I shudder at the
thought. Thank you for a very enjoyable trip.”
Mark Cady, Ann Arbor, Michigan

"Merci Merci Merci Merci Beacoup for a never-to-be forgotten experience. Your
patience and willingness, and your fortitude in dealing with five quite different temperaments deserves the Legion d' Honneur - or at least a Girl Scout merit badge!"

"On a more personal note, you turned out to be everything you claimed to be.
You are a good guide and interpreter, a helluva driver and certainly as patient as you needed to be with our varied characters and tastes. No bull! So in closing, thanks a million
Sandy."

"I was totally fascinated by your extreme patience with people saying,
"Sandy, I have a question", or "Sandy, what does this mean?". It is wonderful to have a great resource right at hand when there are five curious people in new places.
... It was such a treat to have all the planning taken care of, not to mention the driving and translating. Thanks. . . we will certainly highly recommend you at every opportunity."
Marcia & Craig Hoogstra, Washington, D.C.

"I appreciated your help in learning about Paris. The whole visit would have

"Thank you for wonderful memories in France for our family trip. We had such a
wonderful time in Paris thanks to your planning... Your instructions made it very easy to find our way around the city... And the hotel you picked for us was so very special: clean and

"It goes without saying, but I must anyway, that we are so grateful for all
your help in France. It was a great trip, but it was made so much better by/through all you did for us. We don't all agree on a specific favorite thing, but all of our favorite days
included time with you."
